The Language Centre offers the following Chinese language courses for international undergraduate students pursuing a bachelor's degree at Tsinghua University:

(1) Chinese Reading and Writing

This group of courses is a compulsory language course for international undergraduates, designed to train and improve students' Chinese reading and writing skills, enabling them to quickly adapt to professional studies in a Chinese-language academic environment. The course is divided into two levels: elementary and advanced.

(2) China Overview

This course is a compulsory course for international undergraduates, aimed at enhancing students' understanding of various aspects of China's history, culture, and society. The 2-credit course is typically offered in the spring semester.
