The course cluster of Second Foreign Languages is a restricted elective within the undergraduate public foreign language curriculum. The Language Centre currently offers a three-level series of Korean (Second Foreign Language) courses—Korean (Second Foreign Language) (1), (2), and (3). The courses focus on developing students’ basic listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, and are supplemented with introductions to Korean culture. The aim is to enable students to correctly use the Korean language within linguistic, situational, and cultural contexts, while gaining an understanding of Korean society.
